Paper about Tools for Obesity Prevention Accepted

toolsA paper related to the RIPPLE project entitled, “Tools & Resources for Preventing Childhood Obesity in Primary Care: A Method of Evaluation and Preliminary Assessment” was recently accepted to Patient Education & Counselling.

In this mixed methods study we (i) interviewed 19 primary care providers about their use of tools and resources (e.g., 5As of pediatric obesity management, Canada’s Food Guide) to prevent childhood obesity in primary care, and (ii) used three assessment checklists (e.g., Suitability Assessment of Materials) to evaluate tools that are commonly used by providers.

Stay tuned for the pdf!
